Fall

Girl, you're leaving
behind all the friends you've seeded.
All your plants
are reaching out to you.
The colors of despair
paint their leaves; they're dying
while you're trying to care for them, crying
"I'm in love with you, and I
would do anything at all."

  1. Yeah. I don't know where that one came from. I wrote it a long time ago. I just found it again and I thought I'd throw it up there thinking that it might jump-start the writing. It didn't really work though, I just kept rolling down the hill... and then the brakes went out-- oh no! An elderly woman crossing the street with her grand-daughter! I Ahabbed the wheel to change course in the wake of impending doom! Ahhhh... to safely hit a tree...
